Pocol
Pocol is a small village in the municipality of Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno, Veneto. The average altitude is 1,527 m. Pocol is located southwest of Cortina d'Ampezzo, on the SR 48 of the Dolomites in the direction of Falzarego, at the junction with the SP 638 of the Giau Pass. The Ampezzo valley below Pocol, which is 2.96 km from the town centre, is dominated by the top of a hill called Pocol. Even from the plain, the area is known for red and white color television repeaters.
