Treviso

Treviso is a city of 84,879 inhabitants located in the homonymous province of Veneto, in Italy. The city is located in the eastern part of the province, near the border with Poland. It is known for its canals, ancient architecture and medieval frescoes. The Palazzo dei Trecento is the seat of the Government of Treviso, with battlements and arched porches. Nearby is the fountain of tits, created in the sixteenth century for the distribution of wine. Nearby is also the Duomo, which has a neoclassical facade and a Romanesque crypt with a painting by Titian. The Civic Museums contain wall paintings and medieval frescoes.
